Cursed Castle II
Cursed Castle II for SAM Coupé 512K, Mode 1, based on the original English 128K edition. Retains the illustrated introduction and game, with AY music converted to SAA1099 and beeper effects. Editable BASIC, keyboard and joystick verified on bounded routes. Noise uses a timbre approximation in 98 of 23,361 main-track updates; AY and SAA sound differences remain. Emulator testing without physical-hardware or full-game completion certification.
Requires a SAM Coupé with 512 KiB of RAM.
In 60 updates the nominal noise clock differs by about −71.8%, and in one by +69.2%: these are conversion-model limits, not measurements of perceived sound. Beeper pulse spans differ by about −2.17%..+0.64%. Emulator testing covers specific routes and components; no complete-game, physical-hardware or analogue-audio identity certification.
