TS-Pico

Starting and controls

Load with LOAD "". Keep the short TS-Pico filenames. CAPS SHIFT + SPACE interrupts the BASIC loader.

SPACE dismisses the loading screen and opening music. Menu: 1 keyboard, 2 Kempston, 0 start. TS-Pico: 2 then 0. P/O right/left, Q/A up/down, SPACE fire. J jet, CAPS SHIFT pause, R restart remain keyboard actions.

Starbowls_Timex.tap is the standard Timex version. STARBY.TAP is the TS-Pico version: its loader includes the MEMDOCK command. Both retain keyboard controls and the original beeper sound.

Conversion notes

Tested in modified ZEsarUX for Timex; TS-Pico transport was checked using the firmware through the emulator’s documented bridge. These checks do not establish full-game completion or physical-hardware validation.
