Cursed Castle II
Cursed Castle II, original 128K CCII-1-EN edition, for Timex TS2068 with TSPico. Retains the illustrated introduction, game and both AY tracks. Requires 32 KiB resident external RAM and 48 KiB peak during loading. Native boot, BASIC restoration, keyboard and left joystick are verified: 60 updates and 15 source-exact screens per route. Independent review repeated the joystick route, 92 actual native AY callbacks, 512 writer contracts, 8192 joystick cases and all seven effects at eight border colours. Both complete songs were executed as CPU components by the producer; the reviewer checked their recordings and integrity. Intro page flips copy 6912 bytes with interrupts disabled, adding about 145,000 nominal T-states per flip and potentially delaying music interrupts. Absolute timing may differ; no acoustic or speed equivalence is claimed. All seven effects are CPU-verified, but not all were triggered in the cold gameplay route. Tests use emulation with documented Pico HLE; physical hardware, other routes and game completion are unverified. The listing uses an authentic intro page and authentic gameplay capture, both352×304.
