The Spectrum 128K edition
Requires: Sinclair ZX Spectrum 128K. Version: 1.0.2.
A native port from the Oric Atmos game sources, with English text, AY music, selected multicolor presentation scenes and monochrome rooms. The entire game loads at startup; media access is only needed again for Save/Restore.
Loading
DSK: insert the disk in drive A:, select Loader and press Enter. Save/Restore uses a separate tape; disk saving is not provided by this edition.
TAP: choose Tape Loader from the 128K menu.
MGT: +D or DISCiPLE, disk in drive 1, enter 128 BASIC and type RUN. SYSTEM and +SYS are included.
MDR: Interface 1, cartridge in microdrive 1, 128 BASIC → RUN.
OPD: Opus Discovery, disk in drive 1, 128 BASIC → RUN. All required files are included.
Enable the interface matching your media. For MDR, disable +D/DISCiPLE, which may otherwise intercept RUN. Keep the machine in 128K mode.
Controls and saves
QAOP: immediate directional movement. Space/Fire: action. T: switch character. − / =: select item. Caps Shift + Space: drop item.
Start menu: 1 QAOP, 2 Kempston, 3 Sinclair 2, 4 Cursor. Space/Fire starts the game. Save/Restore is available at Information Posts; use writable media and save the emulator’s media changes.
