Starting and controls

For TS-Pico, keep the short filename unchanged and start it through the TS-Pico firmware.

The two parts are independent: each TAP loads one complete part in a single initial operation. Start the required part separately and use the original password when requested.

TS-Pico requires the original Spectrum ROM.

Original controls: P right, O left, A down, Q up or jump, SPACE weapon, H pause and T abandon the game. For the AY joystick choose 2 (Sinclair 1) in the original menu. To customize the keys choose 4 (redefine), then 1 (keyboard). In Part 2, ENTER and N control the torches and M the dynamite; enter the original password NOJIVAJ when starting that part.

Conversion notes

Tested in ZEsarUX through several areas against the original, including the applicable natural ending or defeat and restart. Testing is bounded and does not establish completion of the entire campaign or physical-hardware testing.
