Starting and controls

Mount the disk in drive 1 and boot with SAMDOS. Select controls in the original game menu.

Original controls: P/O steering, Q throttle, A brake, SPACE gear change, M pause and Z exit to the menu. In the menu, 1 redefines seven keys and 2 selects the Kempston joystick.

Conversion notes

Tested in SimCoupe against the original: the built-in DEMO naturally completes two training laps and four race laps, with classifications, points and progression to Jerez. Human controls, joystick, seven-key redefinition, pause and normal exit were checked separately. No human victory or natural human game over is claimed. SAA1099 audio is an approximate adaptation, with differences in short sounds. Testing is bounded and does not establish the entire campaign or physical-hardware execution.
