Sinclair QL Archive

Since 2016, OutSoft and MaxRaf (Spectrum Box) have jointly carried out the Sinclair QL preservation project. OutSoft created the dumps from original media; MaxRaf handled archiving, cataloguing and the lists of preserved material. µDump 2 was developed by Daniele Terdina, author of Q-emuLator, from an idea by OutSoft and MaxRaf, improving the quality and success rate of Microdrive acquisitions. This phase builds on Outsoft’s early software transfers to PC emulators in the 1990s.

Preservation does not confer redistribution rights. The catalogue also includes protected software: downloads are enabled only when redistribution permission has been verified. RWAP Software distributes many QL titles under agreements with their respective rightsholders.
